Second Annual Williams College Strides In Solidarity
Please join the Williams College chapter of PIH Engage on April 26th for its second annual Strides In Solidarity event!
Run with us in solidarity with Partners In Health community health workers around the world, and especially those who have given so much to fight the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. Community health workers walk miles and miles every day to the most remote areas, finding sick patients and delivering critical medical care to the ill and the poor who would otherwise be without care. All proceeds will support Partners In Health in its effort to strengthen health systems and build community health worker networks in West Africa to prevent future outbreaks of Ebola and other infectious diseases.
Event day registration begins at 10 AM on Sunday the 26th; the run will kick-off at 11:30. We will also be tabling in Paresky during the week leading up to the event, so please stop by to register there and/or purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win gift certificates to Spring Street Market, Tunnel City, Freight Yard Pub, and other local businesses/restaurants. Raffle drawings will take place on the morning of the 26th before the start of the run. Those who select the t-shirt registration option can pick up shirts at lunch in Paresky during the week leading up to the event or on the day of the run!
