Memphis has some of the highest infant mortality rates in the United States.  Want to learn more?  Join our showing of "Beyond Babyland,” an award-winning documentary by local filmmakers David Appleby and Craig Leake exploring the staggering infant mortality rate in Memphis

This film screening and the following expert panel discussion will highlight the political-economic, social, and environmental factors which contribute to the high rates, the patterns of disparity in the city, and the local interventions to improve infant and maternal health.
