(Ice Cream) Social for Justice

PIH Engage is a local chapter of a citizen action and advocacy group that is a child of Partners In Health (PIH), and international charity that focuses on providing a preferential health option for the poor. PIH just announced it will be helping to amplify and improve the response to Ebola in both Liberia and Sierra Leone, but they have also been providing health care in 8 other countries for over 20 years.

Please come and share why you care about global health, the building Ebola crisis, or maternal health both here and abroad. We'll be holding a Social for Justice on October 2nd at 7:30pm in the home of one of our members, 74 Vermont Avenue, in West Asheville. All are welcome, and refreshments will be provided!

Turn south off of Haywood Ave in West Asheville onto Vermont Ave. Go about two blocks. The house is on the left at the first intersection with a stop sign. Be welcome!
